Xiaoying You is a freelance climate journalist based in London. She was born and bred in Shanghai, where she started her career about 20 years ago with a Swedish lifestyle magazine. Since then, she has covered a wide range of topics for publications across the world. She switched to reporting on climate change in 2021 after seeing a need for clear and engaging articles written in a way the public can relate to.
